Truth

I think truth is a paradox. I think there is only one absolute Truth, but it is not small enough for any single human mind to hold, so each of us holds a piece. Most of us, in our desire to know the absolute Truth, take our piece and build an idology around it, unwilling to admit that we just don’t know the rest, even to ourselves. Hence, we have a nearly infinite number of different truths, one to a person.

Each, I believe has a piece of the greater Truth, and collectively, we know it, and therefore collectively define existence as we know it. This Truth is the way things are. It is not static, it can change, but the changes are necessarily subtle, because many, many people have to either change their idea or die for even a perceptible change in the overall fabric to take place. Together we shape the universe, with one grain of Truth in each of us.

However, we are not satisfied with our one grain, so we build it up until enough of us have the same built up idea and make it into a religion. All religions have a basis in truth, but none are the Truth.

The Truth is our agreement, not our difference, and oly the unanimous agreements take place. We all agree on gravity, and so it is. God created all of this, and in so doing, gave a piece of Himself to every part. He inserted one portion of the ability to create the universe into each soul, and then gave us the free will to decide which part of ideology is the real Truth, and which is the other things we created to make ourselves feel better.

Thou art God. And so am I. But neither of us alone.
